Pakistan has closed the oldest Afghan refugee camp in Kacha Garhi in North West Frontier Province (NWFP), bordering Afghanistan , officials said. The decision to close the camp was taken in 2006 by the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan and UN High Commission for Refugees or UNHCR due to security reasons. But the closure comes after two years of negotiations, and sets the tone for shutting down of other refugees camps, officials said.
