A 16-member delegation of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has gone to New York for a two-week visit to the United States that is aimed at boosting trade ties with Pakistan, officials said. The delegation, led by KCCI's President Majyd Aziz, comprises members of the KCCI Managing Committee. Besides New York, the delegation will visit Washington, Houston and Atlanta. "We hope to promote and project Pakistan as a profitable and strategic place to invest in the industry, trade and services," Majyd Aziz told reporters before leaving for New York.
