Eight people including two children were killed Friday in southern Zimbabwe when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned after being hit by a bus, state radio reported, according to dpa. Two of the victims died at the scene of the accident, on a treacherous stretch of road linking the border town of Beitbridge to the city of Masvingo. The six other people died at the clinic they were taken to after the accident, the report said. The bus was travelling too close to the vehicle an Isuzu truck - resulting in the collision, witnesses said. Zimbabwe's roads are notorious for fatal road accidents, due to poor driving and lack of vehicle maintenance.
