A parked car bomb struck a police patrol in Baghdad on Monday, killing five people and wounding eight, police said. The explosion, which occurred about 11 a.m. in the central Karradah area, also damaged at least six cars, a police officer said, giving the casualty toll, according to a report of the Associated Press.
