On July 19, Saudi Aramco responded to a fire that began at its Ras Tanura North Terminal at approximately 9:30 a.m., and the company's emergency services brought it under control by 10:30 a.m. The fire resulted in the death of four workers employed by a contractor company. They are 2 Filipinos, 1 Indian and 1 Sri Lankan. It also resulted in the injury of 11 other contractor employees and one Saudi Aramco employee, Saudi Arabian Oil Company /Saudi Aramco/ announced today. The company pointed out that the injured are 6 Indians, 4 Sri Lankans and 1 Bangladeshi. "We are deeply saddened by the death of the four contractor employees and the injuries sustained by the other workers," said Saudi Aramco acting Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Al-Saif.
