The Ministry of Agriculture imposed today a temporary ban on young chicken imported from Moselle- Department in Lorraine Region- East of France as a preventive measure to counter Bird Flu. The ban was prompted by the weekly Disease Information issued by World Organization for Animal Health, which affirmed that Moselle Department is infected by Bird Flu, more specifically the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus - H5N1.
