Twenty-three people were killed and 13 injured as landslides destroyed several houses in two villages in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, officials said Sunday. Landslides, triggered by heavy rainfall overnight, in Kehal Nala and Dehchai villages in Kohistan district also disrupted communication systems in the area, dpa reported. Six women and eight children were among the victims. More than 100 people died in floods and landslides in the province last month.
