At least 23 more people were killed as torrential monsoon rains continued to batter several regions across India, media reports said Sunday. The deaths were reported from the northern Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir states and eastern Orissa and Jharkhand states since Saturday evening, the PTI and IANS news agencies said in reports. A total of 293 people were killed during heavy rains and floods across India since the onset of the monsoon season this year.
