Algerian National Oil Company "Sonatrach" and US Company Kellog Brown & Root (KBR) clinched here Saturday a deal for the construction of a new project of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Skikda, 430 kms east of Algiers. The deal was signed by Sonatrach's Downstream Activities Vice-President Abdelhafid Feghouli and KBR Vice-Executive Manager John Rose, in the presence of Energy and Mines Minister Chakib Khelil and Sonatrach CEO Mohamed Meziane, the Algerian Press Service (APS) reported. In addition to LNG, the Plant will produce 1,600,000 tons of Ethylene, more than 2 Million tons of Propane, 1, 700,000 of tons of Butane, more one Million tons of Gasoline and 163.1 million cubic meter of gas enriched with Helium.
