ARISH, Egypt, July 03, SPA -- A head-on collision Tuesday between two buses on a desert highway just outside the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheik killed at least 12 Egyptians and injured another 50, a health official said. The accident apparently occurred after one of the vehicles tried to overtake a car and slammed into the oncoming bus, said Said Issa, the chief of southern Sinai emergency unit, the Associated Press reported.
