Mexican startup airline Volaris has ordered an additional 14 Airbus A319 jets, bringing its total commitment for the 144-seat plane to 30, the European aircraft maker said Thursday, according to AP. Airbus did not disclose financial terms of the sale. Mexico City-based Volaris placed a first firm order for 16 of the single-aisle planes in January 2006, for use for domestic destinations such as Monterrey and Tijuana, Airbus said in a statement.
