Najran Region is free from bilharzia

The Ministry of Health announced here today that Najran Region is free from Schistosomiasis (bilharzia).
The Ministry awarded The General Directorate of Health in Najran a certificate confirming the Region is free from Bilharzia.
The Ministry conducted a comprehensive survey with cooperation of W.H.O consultant to make sure the Region is free from Bilharzia.
This comes in line with The National Project to eliminate Bilharzia in all breeding-areas of Saudi Arabia.
