THE VALUE OF NON-PETROLEUM EXPORTS OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA IN APRIL, 2007 INCREASED TO SR 8, 106 MILLION FROM SR 7,168 MILLION IN APRIL, 2006. A REPORT RELEASED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL STATISTIC AND DATA AT THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND PLANNING SAID THE VALUE OF THE EXPORTED PETROCHEMICALS AMOUNTED TO SR 2, 327 MILLION; PLASTICS SR 1, 790 MILLION; ORDINARY METALS AND THEIR BI-PRODUCTS SR 718 MILLION; THE RE-EXPORTED COMMODITIES SR 1, 609 MILLION, AND OTHER COMMODITIES SR 1, 662 MILLION. AS REGARD IMPORTS DURING THE SAME PERIOD, THEIR VALUE INCREASED TO SR 27, 324 MILLION FROM SR19, 755 MILLION IN APRIL 2006.
