Army troops foiled an infiltration bid by killing three militants near the Line of Control in Uri sector of Baramulla district early Sunday. The infiltrators were spotted by troops when they were sneaking into this side in Uri sector from across the border and challenged them, a defense spokesman said. The intruders opened fire and in the retaliatory fire three of them were killed, the Press Trust of India reported.
