Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said Sunday Iran's permanent representative to the UN Mohammad-Javad Zarif will be replaced by Mohammad Khazaei. Khazaei is currently serving as Deputy Economy Minister and Head of Iran's Investment and Technical and Economic Aid Organization. "The change will take place due to termination of Zarif's tenure. Khazaei will continue to pursue Iran's principled policy at the United Nations Organization," Hosseini told reporters at his weekly press conference, according to a report of the Iranian news agency "IRNA."
