Flash Floods toll in India reaches 39

At least 39 people were killed as heavy monsoon rains triggered flash floods in India's southern states causing extensive damage and disrupting rail and road traffic, media reports said Saturday.
Thirty-five people were killed in Andhra Pradesh and four more deaths were reported in the Kerala state since Friday evening, the CNN-IBN TV network reported.
