The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) denied Sunday in the Syrian capital Damascus that it had played any role in the rocket attacks on northern Israel, according to dpa. An official source from the front said it "didn't launch rockets" on Israel but said that "it is the right of any Arabs to target Israeli military security any time and anywhere due to Israeli crimes committed against the Palestinian people." Two Katyusha rockets fired from southern Lebanon hit the northern town of Kiryat Shomna, causing some damage but no casualties. Lebanese Hezbollah denied any link to the rockets.
