Three Frenchmen crossing Germany by air were killed when their light plane brushed several trees, crashed and burned, German police said Sunday, according to dpa. The plane, flying in convoy with two other aircraft from the Netherlands to Sweden, was taking off on Saturday after a stopover at a military airfield in Seedorf, Lower Saxony state when the pilot lost control in wind and rain.
