US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte is likely to visit Pakistan on Friday, officials said. Negroponte will hold talks with President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Defense Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal and top officials on bilateral, regional and international issues including Afghanistan and ongoing war on terror. US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard Boucher, who is currently on a visit to Pakistan, will also join Negroponte in deliberations with some Pakistan leaders, officials said.
