Seven soldiers, a policeman and an unidentified person were gunned down in Quetta, capital of Pakistan's Balochistan province, in a terrorist attack late Thursday night, police said. The Pakistan army soldiers were sprayed with bullets in an ambush on Zarghoon Road, near Quetta Railway station. They had just arrived in Quetta by a train, Chiltan Express, and had collectively hired a private Suzuki van to proceed to the cantonment. Police termed the incident a terrorist act and targeted killing in which four others were injured.
