Palestinian security forces arrested more than a dozen Hamas activists in the West Bank on Thursday, a security official said. Among those arrested was a Religious Affairs Ministry official in the West Bank city of Ramallah, the official said. He said security forces had a list of 47 names of Hamas activists they were told to arrest. In the town of Jenin, five Hamas activists were seized, the Associated Press reported.
