The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan and the Yemeni Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim Al-Arhabi discussed here yesterday bilateral ties and means of reinforcing cooperation between the two countries, "SABA" news agency reported. The talks also dealt with the results of a meeting of the joint Saudi-Yemeni ministerial committee which was already held during May 15-16 and the current preparation for holding a meeting of the Saudi -Yemeni Coordination Council. During the meeting, they discussed the progress of Saudi financial grant which was pledged at a donors' conference. The Yemeni minister stressed the importance of preparing and providing an agreement concerned with financial commitment between the two countries to implement the agreed upon projects in the framework of social and economic development for 2006-2010.
