THE PROTOCOL WAS SIGNED BY MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION IYAD MADANI ON THE SAUDI SIDE AND TATARISTAN'S DEPUTY PREMIER AND MINISTER OF CULTURE ZILYA VALEYEVA .
MINISTER MADANI SAID THE VISIT OF THE DELEGATION IS PART OF THE SAUDI CULTURAL DAYS IN RUSSIA ADDING THAT "THE SAUDI SIDE IS KEEN TO ALSO INCLUDE KAZAN IN THE VISIT BECAUSE IT SYMBOLIZES ISLAMIC PRESENCE IN RUSSIA."
