THE MALDIVES PRESIDENT MAUMOON ABDUL GAYOOM RECEIVED HERE TODAY VISITING SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE RIYADH-BASED GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC) ABDULRAHMAN BIN HAMAD AL-ATIYYAH.
DURING THE MEETING, THEY REVIEWED RELATIONS BETWEEN THE GCC AND THE MALDIVES IN ALL FIELDS AND WAYS OF ENHANCING THEM IN ADDITION TO THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AT THE REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ARENAS AND ISSUES OF MUTUAL CONCERN.
THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND AMBASSADORS OF THE GCC MEMBER COUNTRIES ACCREDITED TO THE MALDIVES.
