Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammad Al-Saud, the Secretary General of the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development (NCWCD) reiterated today the necessity to deal with global warming as a feasible reality. In a press statement, NCWCD Chief said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is joining the international efforts to counter this phenomenon practically through establishing and managing protective wild life areas. Prince Bandar called for serious and effective cooperation between governmental bodies, the private sector and individuals to support conservative efforts to protect the echo-system. This came on the occasion of The World Environment Day-2007 entitled this year "Melting Ice - A Hot Topic."
