THE SIXTH GULF CONFERENCE ON PRIMARY HEALTH CARE AND THE SEVENTH SAUDI MEETING FOR THE SAUDI SOCIETY FOR FAMILY AND SOCIETY MEDICINE WILL START THEIR DELIBERATIONS ON MONDAY. THE 3-DAY EVENT WILL BE ORGANIZED BY THE HEALTH MINISTRY IN COOPERATION WITH THE EXECUTIVE BUREAU FOR THE COUNCIL OF THE GCC HEALTH MINISTERS AND THE SAUDI SOCIETY FOR FAMILY AND SOCIETY MEDICINE. A NUMBER OF EXPERTS AND SCIENTISTS FROM THE KINGDOM AND THE COUNTRIES OF THE REGION WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 3-DAY EVENT. MEANWHILE, A SPOKESMAN FOR THE HEALTH MINISTRY SAID THE PROJECT OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ TO BUILD 2000 HEALTH CENTERS IS CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTED BY THE HEALTH MINISTRY. HE NOTED THAT THE PROJECT WILL COST SR 6.5 BILLION, AND THIS SUM WILL BE PAID FROM THE SURPLUS OF THE GENERAL BUDGETS FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 1424-1425 AH AND 1425-1426 AH. THE SPOKESMAN NOTED THAT THE HEALTH CENTERS WILL POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROMOTION OF THE MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE KINGDOM.
