Gunmen attacked a residential compound Friday in Nigeria's lawless southern oil region, kidnapping three Asian workers, police said. The gunmen hit the same housing estate in the main oil center of Port Harcourt from where several Indian nationals were taken last month, said police spokeswoman Irejua Barasua. She had no details on who was kidnapped, but a human rights activist in the region said three Asians were taken. Their nationalities weren't known, the Associated Press reported.
