Two Russian cosmonauts Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and Flight Engineer Oleg Kotov successfully completed a five-hour, 25-minute spacewalk from the Pirs docking compartment airlock while Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams provided support aboard the international space station. The Russian astronauts undertook the spacewalk installing Service Module Debris Protection (SMDP) panels and rerouting a Global Positioning System antenna cable. Yesterday's spacewalk marks the first spacewalk for both Yurchikhin and Kotov, the Press Trust of India reported.
