ABDULRAHMAN BIN HAMAD AL-ATIYYAH, SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL, MET HERE TODAY WITH SRI LANKAN FOREIGN MINISTER ROHITA YOGOLA GHAMA.
DURING THE MEETING, RELATIONS BETWEEN THE GCC AND SRI LANKA COVERING ALL FIELDS, PARTICULARLY IN THE ECONOMIC FIELD, WERE DISCUSSED AND WAYS OF PROMOTING THEM WERE REVIEWED.
AL-ATIYYAH ARRIVED HERE EARLIER TODAY ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO HOLD TALKS WITH SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN SRI LANKA.
