URUGUAY'S VICE PRESIDENT AND SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT RODOLFO NIN NOVOA RECEIVED HERE TODAY SHEIKH DR. SALIH BIN ABDULLAH BIN HOMAID, CHAIRMAN OF THE SAUDI SHOURA COUNCIL CURRENTLY ON A VISIT TO URUGUAY.
DURING THE MEETING, DR. BIN HOMAID COMMENDED GOOD AND STRONG RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
ON HIS PART, THE VICE PRESIDENT PRAISED THE KINGDOM'S STAND AND GREAT ROLE BEING PLAYED UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ IN SUPPORTING PEACE AND SECURITY IN THE WORLD.
THE VICE PRESIDENT HELD A DINNER PARTY IN HONOR OF DR. BIN HOMAID.
DR. BIN HOMAID ALSO MET WITH SPEAKER OF URUGUAYAN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ENRIQUE PENTADO.
DURING THE MEETING, THEY DISCUSSED TOPICS OF MUTUAL INTEREST PARTICULARLY PARLIAMENTARY RELATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO SIDES.
THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY CONSUL AT THE SAUDI EMBASSY WALID MUQIM AND A NUMBER OF OFFICIALS.
