THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA DR. KHALID BIN MOHAMMED AL-ANQARI INAUGURATED HERE TODAY THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON UNIVERSITY EDUCATION IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA ORGANIZED BY HORIZONS PROJECT, AN AFFILIATE OF RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF KING FAHD FOR PETROLEUM AND MINERALS UNIVERSITY IN COOPERATION WITH SAINT ANTONY COLLEGE AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY . PRINCE DR. KHALID BIN ABDULLAH AL-MISHARI AL SAUD, DEPUTY MINISTER OF EDUCATION FOR GIRLS AFFAIRS AND PRINCE DR. FAISAL BIN ABDULLAH AL-MISHARI AL SAUD, DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL CENTER FOR STANDARDS AND ASSESSMENT AT THE HIGHER EDUCATION ATTENDED THE TWO-DAY WORKSHOP ALONG WITH THE SAUDI DELEGATION IN ADDITION TO THE PARTICIPATION OF MORE THAN 20 INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS. IN HIS SPEECH, DR. AL-ANQARI SAID THAT THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT HOPED THAT THE WORKSHOP WILL ACHIEVE SUCCESSES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA. HE LAID STRESS ON THE SUPPORT PROVIDED FOR THE MARCH OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION IN THE KINGDOM BY THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ, NOTING THAT THE KING SUPPORTED THE IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE KINGDOM THROUGH VARIOUS IDEAS SUBMITTED AT THIS WORKSHOP.
