Pakistan and Sudan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in anti-terrorism campaign and to further consolidate the existing friendly relations, according to an official statement. Pakistan's Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and his Sudanese counterpart Prof Elzubair Bashir Taha signed the agreement. Both the ministers were convinced that improved cooperation between Pakistan and Sudan will benefit the people of the two countries. While reaffirming the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, equality, independence, they agreed to cooperate in different fields including training of Sudanese officers in Pakistan in various fields and cooperation and exchange of information for the control of transitional crimes.
