A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct joint research in the desalinization technology was signed between the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and the Saudi Aramco at the headquarters of the Saline Water Desalination Research Institute in Jubail, a subsidiary of the SWCC yesterday. Governor of SWCC Fehied Al-Shareef signed the MoU on behalf of the Corporation while Khaled Al-Bu Alaynayn, Vice President of Saudi Aramco for engineering services, signed on behalf of his company, Arab News reported today. Saleh Al-Jarrah, Director of Research and Technology at the SWCC, said the MoU is aimed at developing viable methods of water desalination.
