A gas tank exploded Saturday at a horse racing track in Aarhus, western Denmark, injuring two people, officials said. The Falck rescue service initially said at least 10 people were injured in the explosion, but Aarhus Fire Department spokesman Jakob Andersen later said only two people were hurt. Both were being treated at a hospital but their injuries were not serious, Andersen said, according to AP. The explosion happened at the Jydsk horse racing track in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, 200 kilometers (120 miles) northwest of Copenhagen. Track manager Max Adelsboell said the blast occurred after a car accidentally reversed into a gas tank outside a restaurant adjacent to the race track. Both the restaurant and the track were closed at the time, but there were a few employees inside the restaurant. They evacuated the building after detecting a gas leak, just two minutes before the explosion, rescuers said. -- SPA
