Cyprus plane turns back after being hit by lightning

A Cyprus Aiways passenger plane was forced to
return to Larnaca airport on Thursday after being struck by
lightning, reports said.
The Airbus returned after lightning struck the starboard engine as
it flew over Paphos, approximately 100 kilometres west of Larnaca, according to dpa.
The flight with 118 passengers on aboard and seven crew was on its
way to Athens when the incident occurred. No one was reported
injured.
