PRINCE NAIF BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE INTERIOR MINISTER, STATED THAT ON THE OCCASION OF THE VISIT BY CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ TO THE REGIONS OF NORTHERN BORDERS, ALJOUF AND TABUK, THE KING HAS ISSUED ORDERS TO PAY DEBTS FOR THOSE DETAINED FOR PRIVATE RIGHTS OWING DEBTS OR BLOOD MONEY. THOSE WHOSE DEBTS WILL BE PAID BY THE KING SHOULD PROVE TO BE UNABLE TO REPAY THEIR DEBTS, NOT PROCRASTINATING OR MANIPULATING THE MONEY OF PEOPLE AND THEIR DEBTS ARE NOT DUE TO CRIMES THEY COMMITTED. THE KING ALSO DIRECTED THAT AMNESTY BE GIVEN TO PRISONERS OF PUBLIC RIGHTS DETAINED AND CONVICTED IN ALL PRISONS OF THE KINGDOM'S REGIONS. THOSE WHO WILL BE FORGIVEN SHOULD NOT CONSTITUTE DANGER TO SECURITY AND THEIR CRIMES SHOULD NOT BE MAJOR CRIMES. THEIR CRIMES ALSO SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHABLE BY A SHARIA DEFINED PUNISHMENT AND SHOULD NOT ENTAIL A PRIVATE RIGHT. THE AMNESTY DOES NOT INCLUDE FUGITIVES WHETHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE SENTENCING. --MORE
