This collaboration will enable us to realize the ambitions and aspirations of the peoples of the area and allow us to successfully confront local, regional and international challenges. As you are aware, one of the results of the last summit was the approval to hold the first specialized Arab economic summit, which is charged with identifying practical programs and mechanisms to boost and activate comprehensive development strategies, eliminate the hurdles which handicap inter-Arab trade and joint investments, and to enhance the living standards of Arab nations and their peoples. Without a doubt, greater Arab economic cooperation will boost quality of life, raise incomes, and promote social and educational development, which is why it is essential to maximize the advantages gained from the experience in this field of all the Arab nations, as well as other countries beyond our region...
