Meleih said the Kingdom will be capable of attaining the goals set by the UN prior to the set deadline. He noted that the issuance of the report has provided a clear evidence for the adherence of the Kingdom to the goals set by the UN. He noted that the Kingdom has succeeded in the containment of poverty, and it will be able of totally eradicating it before 2015. The Kingdom has played a key role in the development of the international partnership for development, and it is considered as one of the most important donor countries in the world', he said noting that the Kingdom extended between 1973 and 2005 more than $84.4 billion. which constitutes about 4 percent of the gross domestic product (gdp) in the last decade, as a foreign aid.
