PRINCE KHALID AL-FAISAL, GOVERNOR OF ASSIR REGION, EXTENDED THANKS TO AND APPRECIATION OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ AND CROWN PRINCE SULTAN FOR THEIR INTEREST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ASSIR REGION AS WELL AS OTHER PARTS OF THE KINGDOM.
ADDRESSING A MEETING WITH SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, GOVERNORS OF PROVINCES AFFILIATED TO HIS GOVERNORATE, BUSINESSMEN, TRIBAL LEADERS AND CITIZENS, PRINCE KHALID GAVE AN ACCOUNT OF THE PAST AND FUTURE OF DEVELOPMENTAL PROCESS IN ASSIR REGION.
DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WORTH MORE THAN SR867 MILLION WERE ACCREDITED IN THIS YEAR'S BUDGET, MORE THAN SR 1.1 BILLION OF PROJECTS ARE UNDERWAY, HE SAID ADDING THAT ELECTRICITY HAS COVERED 97 PERCENT OF THE REGION.
HE SAID SR667 MILLION WERE ALLOTTED FOR HEALTH PROJECTS IN ADDITION TO A MEDICAL CITY COSTING SR ONE BILLION, AS WELL AS 21 PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CENTERS.
