THE SHOURA COUNCIL HELD A SESSION HERE TODAY UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE COUNCIL'S CHAIRMAN SHEIKH DR. SALIH BIN ABDULLAH BIN HOMAID.
IN A STATEMENT TO SAUDI PRESS AGENCY, ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE COUNCIL AHMAD BIN ABDULAZIZ ALYAHYA SAID THE COUNCIL DISCUSSED A REPORT BY THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND UNIVERSITIES AND TOOK A NUMBER OF DECISIONS AIMING AT IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY AND WORK OF UNIVERSITIES.
ALYAHYA ADDED THAT THE COUNCIL DISCUSSED A REPORT BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND DECIDED TO ESTABLISH A SPECIALIZED CENTER FOR TRANSPORT RESEARCH AND STUDIES.
