The 11th Arab Conference of Chiefs of Investigation and Criminal Evidence started deliberations at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers here today. The Saudi delegation was led by Director of Anti-Forgery Department Major General Abdullah bin Saad Al-Amri, who is also Assistant Director of Criminal Evidence Administration at the Public Security. The Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Koman delivered a speech in which he thanked Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, and the Arab Interior Ministers for their support for the General Secretariat and their efforts to consolidate and provide security and stability in the entire Arab world. He said that "there is an urgent need to establish closer cooperation and coordination relations among investigation and criminal evidence services of all Arab countries. Such cooperation will be effective in tightening security measures against criminals as well as foiling their plans and movements." A number of important topics regarding security was included on the agenda.
