ALIGNED COUNTRIES BRONO RODER GENS THANKED THE ARAB LEAGUE AND THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA FOR HOSTING THE SUMMIT AT A TIME OF INTERNATIONAL SENSITIVE CIRCUMSTANCES. HE REVIEWED THE EFFORTS OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE NON-ALIGNED COUNTRIES IN ENHANCING THE PILLARS OF THE GLOBAL PEACE NOTABLY IN THE ARAB REGION AND THE MIDDLE EAST. HE REITERATED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE JUST SETTLEMENT OF THE PALESTINIAN PROBLEM IN A MANNER THAT LEADS TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT PALESTINIAN STATE WITH AL-QUDS AS ITS CAPITAL AS WELL AS THE RIGHT OF THE ARAB NATIONS TO UNCONDITIONALLY RESTORE THEIR LANDS OCCUPIED IN 1967. HE REITERATED THE CONDEMNATION OF CUBA FOR ANY FORM OF INSULT TO ISLAM. HE UNDERLINED THE IMPORTANCE OF DIALOGUE AMONG THE NATIONS, CIVILIZATIONS AND CULTURES.
