Ambassador Ahmad Al-Qattan, the Permanent delegate of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League said today that the Kingdom and Egypt presented a working paper on Arab security during the meetings of Arab delegates to the Arab League which were held yesterday in Riyadh, within the framework of preparations for the forthcoming Arab summit scheduled to be held in Riyadh from March 28-29. In a press release, he said the idea of the Arab security includes a proposal for setting up a team of security experts and specialists to present a study on risks facing the Arab nation to be submitted to the Arab Ministerial Council by the experts' committee. Al-Qattan also drew the attention that the working papers and proposals extended during the preparatory meetings of Arab delegates to the Arab League will be submitted to the Ministerial Council which will meet tomorrow in Riyadh for their endorsement. As regards the joint Arab market, Ambassador Al-Qattan said there is a proposal on this issue which will be presented to the Arab Finance and Economy Ministers at their meeting later today. Meanwhile, the Kingdom's permanent delegate to the Arab League stressed the need for solutions to existing problems to secure the success of these proposals and to improve the Arab states' economic situation as well as the revival of Arab markets and generation of jobs' opportunities for their citizens. -- SPA
