A flight of India's domestic carrier Indian from Bangkok to Delhi with 95 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the eastern city of Kolkata Wednesday after a Mexican passenger threatened to blow up the aircraft, news reports said. No explosives were found on the aircraft during a search after it landed, PTI news agency reported citing an Airports Authority of India official. The Mexican national on flight IC-954 threatened to blow up the plane after an argument with the cabin crew, dpa quoted official as saying. The passenger, whose name was not disclosed, was arrested after the plane landed. "The passenger did not have any bomb or explosives on him as he claimed," the official said. All passengers disembarked safely after the plane landed. Indian army commandos, security personnel and the bomb squad surrounded the aircraft and carried out search operations.
