THE MINISTRY OF LABOR HAS ANNOUNCED THE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES WHERE SHOP KEEPING WILL BE CONFINED TO SAUDI NATIONALS, STATING THAT THE GRACE GIVEN TO OWNERS OF BUSINESSES TO REPLACE THE FOREIGN WORKERS BY SAUDIS HAS EXPIRED NEARLY TWO MONTHS AGO, IT WAS REPORTED HERE TODAY. IN A STATEMENT, THE UNDERSECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF LABOR FOR LABOR AFFAIRS AHMED ALZAMEL SAID THE THREE-YEAR GRACE GIVEN TO THE OWNERS OF THOSE ACTIVITIES TO SAUDIZE THEM HAS EXPIRED ON THE FIRST OF MUHARAM 1428 H. CORRESPONDING TO 20 JANUARY 2007. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE SHOPS OF FEMALES AND CHILDREN CLOTHES, READY-MADE CLOTHES, UNDER-WEAR, CHILDREN TOYS, KNITTING APPLIANCES, ARAB PERFUMES, ROSES AND GIFTS, SALE SHOPS, CARPETS, SHOES, WATCHES, MOBILES AND FIXED TELEPHONES, STATIONARY, BUFFETS IN GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, CHILLED POLITY, CARS ORNAMENTS, AUTO SPARE PARTS, TENTS, PAINTS, BUILDING MATERIALS AS WELL AS STALLS AND CORRIDORS IN COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES.
