In its bid to introduce Pakistani products in Romania, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has worked out a plan to send eight Pakistani manufacturing firms to display their products at the most popular consumer trade fair to be held in Bucharest on March 29, according to an official statement. The products include fabric, leather and leather products, marble, wooden furniture and handicrafts, carpets and rugs, shoes, gloves, textile made ups etc. Participation of Pakistani businessmen and firms in the Bucharest consumer trade fair would provide not only an opportunity for Pakistan to show Pakistan products in Romania but also to learn market strategies of countries producing similar merchandize, the statement said. The participation will also be beneficial for Pakistan is it may lead to tripartite collaboration with foreign firms attending the fair. In addition to the TDAP delegation, about 12 more shopkeepers from different cities of Pakistan would be selling Pakistani handicrafts, small furniture and onyx items it the consumer fair. This is the largest international consumer items exhibition in Romania. The fair was instituted 15 years ago. Pakistan is participating in it at official level after a log gap.
