Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare congratulated last night, on the phone, Prince Nawwaf bin Faisal bin Fahd, Vice General President of Youth Welfare, and the Saudi team on the one-nil win of the football match which was against Iran, played in Dammam last night for China 2008 Olympics. The Saudi team scored the game's single goal in the 82nd minute of the match. The two teams ended the first half scoring no goals. Saudi coach changed three of his players in the 2nd half including two in the midfield and one in its attack line. Both teams displayed a good and relatively fair play, although they both had a number of ups and downs. The Saudi players were booked three times by the game's referee and the Iranians twice. The game was played at Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Dammam. -- SPA
