A bomb explosion killed at least three people and injured an anti-terrorism court judge and half a dozen others in Pakistan's Punjab province today, police said. The bomb was tied with a bicycle that went off near Kutcheri (court) flyover in Multan. Judge Bashir Ahmed Bhatti was crossing the flyover along with his two guards and a driver when the bomb exploded. His driver Muhammad Iqbal and two bodyguards Muhammad Ijaz and Munir were killed on the spot. Some of the injured persons shifted to the Nishtar Hospital Multan were stated to be in crucial conditions. Police dubbed it as a terrorist attack. Police and bomb disposal squad reached the scene soon after the blast and cordoned off the area. Judge Bhatti was hearing a sectarian terrorism case and was due to deliver the verdict in it.
