President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has offered his condolences to the family of the victims of Levina I ferryboat which caught fire in Java Sea last Thursday and sank at Jakarta's Tanjung Priok port on Sunday, killing Lativi cameraman Suherman, while three others went missing. According ANTARA, the charred boat sank at noon on Sunday when investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (KNKT) and the National Police' forensic laboratory, accompanied by 12 TV cameramen and reporters, were going over the ill-fated vessel. Presidential spokesman Andi Malarangeng said here on Monday that Yudhoyono expressed the sympathy on the sidelines of his function to officiate an irrigation project in Central Lampung. "The president was remorseful for the dead of Lativi cameraman who used to carry out his regular assignment at the presidential palace," Andi said.
