PRINCE SAUD AL-FAISAL, MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, RECEIVED AT HIS OFFICE IN RIYADH TODAY THE AMBASSADOR OF PORTUGAL TO THE KINGDOM HENRIC MANUEL SILVENA PORGAS WHO CAME TO BID PRINCE SAUD FAREWELL AT THE END OF HIS TERM OF OFFICE AS AMBASSADOR OF HIS COUNTRY TO THE KINGDOM.
LATER, PRINCE SAUD AL-FAISAL RECEIVED THE AMBASSADOR OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF AFGHANISTAN TO THE KINGDOM MOHAMMED KABEER FARAHI WHO BADE PRINCE SAUD FAREWELL AS HIS TENURE AS AMBASSADOR OF AFGHANISTAN TO THE KINGDOM HAS EXPIRED.
FOLLOWING THIS MEETING, PRINCE SAUD AL-FAISAL ALSO RECEIVED THE AMBASSADOR OF THE UNITED KINGDOM TO THE KINGDOM SHERARD COWPER-COLES WHO ALSO BADE HIM FAREWELL ON THE OCCASION OF THE END OF HIS SERVICE IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA.
FINALLY, PRINCE SAUD AL-FAISAL RECEIVED THE SPEAKER OF INDIAN PARLIAMENT (LOK SABHA) SOMNATH CHATTERJEE.
DURING THE MEETING, MATTERS OF MUTUAL CONCERN BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA ON ONE HAND AND EACH OF THE OFFICIAL GUESTS' RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES ON THE OTHER WERE DISCUSSED.
THE MEETINGS WERE ATTENDED BY SENIOR FOREIGN MINISTRY CONCERNED OFFICIALS.
